Every desktop key this branch adds or rewords is now in all eight bundled
locales (ar, de, es, fr, ja, ru, zh, zh-hant). Locale files are partial
overlays, so a missing key showed English without failing typecheck or
catalog-completeness.test.ts, which reads the merged catalog.
- ar and zh-hant: restore the setup-card, handoff-card, local-setup and
tool-title translations that merge 4efdfb6d84 dropped, from dfe96faf5e,
into the sibling files that now own those keys; translate only keys
English added since. zh-hant also gets the slow-start screen.
- All locales: the usage-stats consent copy (sharedMetrics) still
translated the old English ("Help improve Hermes?", the old upload
mechanics). Retranslated from the current English.
- All locales: the developer section's reset-onboarding row and the
start_chat retry label.
overlay-completeness.test.ts reads each locale's own overlay and matches
the keys it lacks against overlay-gaps.json, generated by the same test
(`vitest run src/i18n/overlay-completeness.test.ts -u`). The file holds
main's existing gaps; every locale's list is a subset of what main lacks
at the merge base, and none of this branch's keys appear in it. A new
English key left untranslated changes that file's diff. ar, ja, ru, zh and
zh-hant now export their overlay object, as de, es and fr already did.
