Anthropic released Claude Sonnet 5.5 on 2026-09-28. Both the OpenRouter catalog
and the Nous Portal /v1/models endpoint serve it (verified live: Portal returned
200 with reasoning off and on, and OpenRouter's models API lists and prices it).
- hermes_cli/models_catalog_static.py: sonnet-5.5 in OPENROUTER_MODELS, directly
above sonnet-5. The nous list is derived from the OpenRouter tuple, so the
Portal picker picks it up from the same edit.
- website/static/api/model-catalog.json: regenerated via
scripts/build_model_catalog.py.
Provider-agnostic metadata already resolves for the new slug, so no edits are
needed. The DEFAULT_CONTEXT_LENGTHS key claude-sonnet-5 substring-matches to
1,000,000, and the claude-sonnet-5 reasoning-timeout prefix matches through the
"." separator to the 180s floor. Both routes bill via official_models_api live
pricing ($2/$10, same as Sonnet 5), so there is no _OFFICIAL_DOCS_PRICING
snapshot entry.
