Teknium 1c9135d5c2 test(e2e): the Desktop update harness keeps the seed's channel record ...

configureProvider() rewrote config.yaml from scratch for every spec, after
the seed had pinned `update.installs.<id>: main`, so the three Desktop update
specs still saw the stable default (release run 38078988253: the update check
answered {"channel":"stable","error":"release-unavailable"}). It now carries
the seed's top-level `update:` block into the provider config it writes.
