The reply-pointer test only exercised the split-turn gate, so reverting the
_latest_user_task_snapshot hunk (drop the gateway quote before eliding an
over-cap request) left it green. Assert the deterministic snapshot of the
long reply still contains the authored request, and reuse the parametrized
_oversized_active_turn helper instead of a near-copy _reply_turn.
