Historical get_python_path dereferences the reload helper result. Returning None replaced the missing-import failure with an AttributeError. Stop cleanly for relaunch without reloading globals or invoking PM. Reproduced the historical fallback failure before the fix. Verified 535 targeted tests, Ruff, and focused type checks.
