v0.4.2's merge commit ran red on 3.11: the test teardown raced git's background
maintenance. #7 fixes the fixture and CI is green on the merged commit.

The catalog was last bumped to c60ec42 (export-import path confinement).
Since then main has moved: b533fc9 (path-confinement fix + is_available
fallback), 4bed2ed (ScalarQuant→TurboQuant, search_timeout phantom,
utcnow deprecation, magic-5 constant), 9f30627 (README polish, dead
GitLab link dropped, v1.1.0 feature docs).
None of those are behavior changes from a catalog user's perspective —
the polish is docstrings, dead code removal, and a deprecation fix.
But pinning to the tip of main means the catalog badge / image URL
matches what's actually on the main branch, and a future 1.1.1 patch
release can layer on top without a contradictory pin.
Version stays 1.1.0 (no behavior change).
Bumps the catalog pin to include the path-traversal and config-parsing
fixes from Ex8-ca/memex8#2 (merged commit c60ec42):
- /memex8 export|import paths are now confined to
$HERMES_HOME/plugin-data/memex8/ unless enable_export_import=true.
- enable_export_import parses the literal 'true'/'false' strings the
wizard stores (was bare truthiness, so 'false' counted as enabled).
Addresses the review feedback Teknium left on PR #125757 (and the
plugin-side fix in Ex8-ca/memex8#2). Version stays 1.1.0; this is a
pin bump, not a release bump.
Bumps the pinned SHA from b5e87b7b (v1.0.0) to 47fbe5b8 (v1.1.0) so
users running 'hermes plugins install memex8' get the six new
features:
- per-session injection dedup + char-budget gate (Feature 1)
- decision/evaluation memory-type promotion (Feature 2)
- prompt-injection sanitization on read (Feature 3)
- configurable system-prompt template (Feature 4)
- export/import memories as JSON (Feature 5)
- /memex8 slash command with 9 subcommands (Feature 6)
All new behaviors default OFF, so existing users see no behavior
change. The pinned image URL moves to match the new SHA so the
catalog preview still renders.
The 'provides_hooks' block is restored as on_session_end +
on_pre_compress (was empty in the prior catalog entry — both hooks
are still implemented and surfaced in plugin.yaml).
Plan: PLAN-memex8-v1.1-features.md (in the plugin repo).
Bumps plugin-catalog/hermes-beads.yaml sha to the v0.1.2 tag commit
(975263183c65b1ef94160344024187b64379dc32; annotated tag object 3018a0424)
and version to 0.1.2. Matches the v0.1.0 convention (pin = commit the tag
object resolves to). scripts/validate_plugin_catalog.py: OK.

Discharges teknium1's review on NousResearch/hermes-agent#129840:
- bd_bin argv[0] fix landed on main via teknium1's own jacobhausler/hermes-beads#5
- README 'loaded automatically' + catalog 'desktop pane included' claims removed
- handlers catch ValueError -> _fail JSON; beads_update field-list truth
