Reconcile plugin declarations and validation through PM's atomic generation publication; preserve external runtimes, target markers, and conflict refusal. Keep one source-update completion owner and port upstream lifecycle changes to the PM desktop/runtime paths.
sync_turn now writes each completed turn through the SDK's documents.add,
keyed by custom_id "<session>_<date>_b<0-5>" so all turns of a session in
one 4-hour window append to a single document. This matches the capture
shape of the other Supermemory agent integrations and removes the raw
urllib POST to /v4/conversations, which the self-hosted server does not
implement (#101270).
Failed turn writes stay pending and are retried with the next turn, at
session end, on session switch, and at shutdown. Previously a failed
session-end ingest was logged once and the whole session was lost.
Inline base64 data URIs in captured text are replaced with "[image]" so
pasted screenshots no longer land in the document as megabytes of text.
Metadata stays type/session_id/timestamp plus the existing sm_source.
Introduce the pm store: a unified, hash-verified package store that
replaces lazy_deps and the old installer's ad-hoc tool downloads.
Store tools are provisioned on PATH (ffmpeg, node/npm via pinned uv),
with a resumable 8-way downloader, verify() returning failure reasons,
and adopt() made EPERM-safe. chromium ships in the payload for every
target. The 3600-line install.sh is replaced by a staged bootstrapper
(heavy deps are pm's job after this); setup-hermes.sh, Dockerfile and
nix pin tables are rewired onto the store. Old install-script tests,
lazy_deps/managed_uv/build_info, and the ps1/bash installer test
batteries are removed with the machinery they tested.
Rebuilt from ethie/pm onto upstream/main (ac6c8028e0) after the
utf-8-sig sweep. 16 hot files (main also churned them) hand-merged:
platform adapters, main.py, electron/main.ts, tui_gateway/server.py,
cua_backend, installer-tests workflow, install.sh (full rewrite),
setup-hermes.sh, plugins doc.

Salvaged from #32487 (by @MaheshtheDev), rebased onto current main.
- sync_turn now buffers cleaned turns; the full session is ingested once
at session end / switch / shutdown via the conversations endpoint
- ingest_conversation() accepts and forwards functional document metadata
(type, session_id, message_count, partial)
- register kebab-case tool aliases (supermemory-save/search/forget/profile)
alongside the snake_case names
- README + docs (EN/zh-Hans) updated for the simplified session model
Source/vendor-attribution removed per project policy (no telemetry):
dropped x-sm-source header, sm_source metadata, and sm_capture_mode tags.
Preserved the post-branch atomic_json_write(mode=0o600) hardening that the
PR's stale base had reverted. Updated provider tests for the new behavior
and added maheshthedev@gmail.com to release.py AUTHOR_MAP.

* feat(supermemory): restore x-sm-source for Spaces routing
Reinstates x-sm-source: hermes (SDK default_headers + conversations POST)
and sm_source: hermes document metadata. Per @Dhravya (Supermemory), this
is a functional routing key, not telemetry: it groups Hermes writes into a
dedicated "Hermes" Space in the Supermemory app so users can filter and
bulk-manage memories per source agent.
sm_capture_mode remains dropped (appears analytics-only; Spaces are routed
by sm_source) pending confirmation. Adds README note + a unit test covering
_merge_metadata sm_source stamping and legacy source->type migration.
